Thanks All,

After what John said about 3M adhesive remover I remembered I have some goof-off.

I will try goof-off first, followed by a vinegar (or ammonia (windex)) final cleanup and report my results.

Suggestions Please

A prior owner (in Southern California) installed a dark limo tint plastic to the inside of all the windows (except windshield).

I have managed to peal the tint off (with the help of a single edge razor blade) but it has left a residue (in places) on the glass like scotch tape would leave.

Any suggestions on what would remove the residue without scratching the glass?

Thanks,

Dean Slone
I'd be very careful with anything sharp or abrasive on the inside of the glass. I would start with something like goof-off and see if that had any effect. Goof-Off is a multi-purpose solvent that will remove tacky or dried adhesive residues. http://www.goof-off.com/
