[W126 Coupe] start-up and gas tank question

Hi Jonathan
Stepping on the gas helps.
I don't recall ever doing anything to the injectors. Tune up was earlier this year and even though they are a MB mechanic, I am not sure as to the overall quality of the work. 
I have not ohm's out the sensors, nor verify the cold start valve is working. Where are the sensors and what should they read? How do I verify the cold start valve is working? I am "tool challenged".
