Thanks Ernie. Just found the problem. One of the larger hoses (not sure which one it is), had a crack. I wrapped some Sikaflex around it and the problem was solved.

Thomas,
I've had a similar problem with my 58 Corvette and even with my Mercruiser powered boat. The Corvette had Ignition Control Module issues, I replaced it and everything worked out fine. The boat had a bad rotor; I couldn't believe it because it was virtually new with only about 4 hours on it; I'm not a mechanic so I can only tell you what I personally experienced.
Good luck,
Ernie

This is driving me mad. I just picked up my 560 a few days ago after it was in the shop for over 3 weeks getting a new paint job. When I left the shop it stalled twice on acceleration from a stop. Last night it did it twice more...in traffic. It started doing it about 3 days before I brought it into the shop. I thought it might have been bad gas and put in some fuel cleaner thinking it would solve the problem. It didn't, as evidenced by the problem still being there. It is not the fuel pumps as they are both relatively new. Could it be a vacuum leak? Any idea where to look? Any troubleshooting on my part would have to be visual as I don't have vacuum gauges etc. for diagnostic work. Thanks.
