I've been using one on my motorcycle for 2 years now, with no issues at
all. Just make sure you buy one that has an intelligent battery
monitor, rather than one of the $8 wonders from Harbor Freight. I've
heard of more than one instance of a basic low amperage charger boiling
a battery over time, if they don't have the smarts to shut off or go to
float charging mode.
