[W126 Coupe] Suspect OVP relay (old subject-sorry)

Mak,

Thanks for the tip. I think I will pry open the relay today and go over the
solder joints. Makes a lot of sense. It's not too long ago that I had
problems with my heater/aircon control box. After taking the unit out of the
car and re-soldering some of the joints which looked bad, it worked 100%
after reinstallation. I suppose it's just one of those things that you can
expect to happen at the age of these cars. I just hope it doesn't happen
with too many other electrical systems in the future. Anyway, I will let you
know if re-soldering the OVP makes any difference.
