[W126 Coupe] MBCOUPES Digest Question

My 1985 500 SEC had a complete a/c overhaul.  The unit is blowing cold until
the weather hits above 90 degrees, then the air blows much warmer.
Any thoughts?  
Also, when I push the console button to turn on the a/c sometimes
it goes on with no problem but other times I have to turn up the ignition
key  appx. 1/4" up which kicks the a/c into action.  Is this a starter issue?  Fuse?
Wire?  Any help would be great to get info prior to bringing it back to the dealer who repaired
the a/c since it's no longer under warranty.
