[W126 Coupe] Off Topic-Insurance Question

Well thanks to all that responded.  I was just curious, as I have the multi car discount + they have my house.  But I recently complained as they knocked 100 bucks off a year off my excursion.  They said they cant do anything on the benz.  I do have recreation insurance on it.  But I figured that with everyone on here, someone may know something that I have over looked.   The only thing I do, since I don't drive the car in the winter along with the 300ce is put them on suspension.  So, only fire and theft.  That runs me a whopping 11 bucks a month! HA   But they are killin me when they are in full service. Esp since I just called them out of the blue on the excursion and said I'm paying too much.  hey worst they could say is sorry, but 100 bucks savings is better than nothing.  Same coverage.    Humm, I will look into Hagerty and Grundy and see what they have to offer.  I've pretty much exhausted getting quotes.

  Car insurance rates vary widely from state to state. Also, age of the driver and city/metro area come into play. Since your SEL is a low-use vehicle, try classic car insurance. Hagerty and Grundy are two that come to mind. They have more use restrictions than standard policies, but are often a better fit for an occasional use car like many of our Mercs.

   I was wondering who who guys are using for insurance?  I have a 560sel and well the rates on this thing are in left field.  Its not a daily driver so Id say less that 8000 miles a year now :(    Any suggestions on who to call that wont charge an arm and a leg? I have a spotless driving record and for what they charge me, they should be ashamed of themselves.
