Dear Party People:

I would like to thank Lou for his lovely compliments, and all of you, for making the commitment to gather, motor in, and spend your entire day here (12 hour party!!!) on the Legs compound sharing my passion for Stars and my birthday so joyously.  It is now Monday, and I can't wipe the smile off my face from the afterglow of a most wonderful day shared in the company of my friends from MBCoupes group. To all of you who pitched in group fashion, a very big thank you. To Mark Reimers who travelled cross country to attend, a bear hug again.
Thank heavens the cars come equipped with power seats, because we sure needed to push them back from the steering wheel given all the gourmet party chow we downed (FOUR meals!!!!).  The School of Legs students are awesome, both retaining the information from prior lessons, as well as zealously attacking a new task, this year, mirror polish air filters, which required a refined combination of German chemicals, human sweat, pieces of Ellen's old underwear, and a beer.  (I did say "refined combination", did I not?)
Mother Nature did indeed grant us a fully fine day, that had Markus and Axel doing some serious moonwalking moves by cocktail hour.   I couldn't believe my eyes.  Yet other bodily skills, which we cannot mention publicly here, may require some improvement for next year.  (Only one guy could "find the groove").  The party goers were forewarned there would be games of skill, and we did not disappoint. The pictures don't lie.
I would like to compile ALL the photos onto a CD we all can share if you will send me your disk or files you took on Saturday, I will write a humorous report, and send it to all of you who attended and/or contributed generously.
