[W126 Coupe] Neutral Safety Switch

I think my Neutral Safety Switch needs to be replaced or adjusted.

Sometimes the car won't start when it is in PARK. The battery is OK and all
the electrical things function perfectly. After playing around with things,
I found that when the car won't start in PARK it will start in NEUTRAL.

Does the switch need to be adjusted or replaced? I don't even know where it
is or what it looks like.

Can I do this myself or should I take it to a shop?
