[W126 Coupe] door check

The part Clay is looking for is for a 450 SLC not a w126 bodied car.

There are a couple in the wrecking yards in San Diego.

I could pick you up one if you want - Autohausaz has them for $200

While I have a parts car that I'd be more than willing to grab a door 
check from, you might want to take a look at the price of new. 

They're under $20 from the bulk parts online sites, and I can't imagine 
them being much more than the $28 MSRP at the dealer for OEM, and likely 
to save some grief with one possibly failing.

That being said, I could grab one from the back doors of my SD parts 
car, since as far as I can tell they're completely interchangeable 
between all the 126 and likely a few more bodies.
