Yes, AMG offered Recaro seating as an upgrade to the interior of the W126.
 
They could even provide individual (2) rear Recaro seats for the SEL.
 
The period correct ones would be the "Classic C" model.

Recaro front seats...?
I have never seen those in an SEC and it never occurred to me... Sounds great!
I have them in my 91 Mustang and my 96 Jeep Cherokee. They are awesome!!
It's amazing how much of a difference good seats make in a car... The above two I mentioned came with really lousy seats!!
I always thought the SEC seats, although comfy, are a bit old tech ergonomically...
Did AMG use Recaro seats in the SEC?
Are these attainable and where?

Will do..

The exterior will be completed before the rest...

The interior wood is being redone in a dark maple colour which is going to take a month...

I have also acquired a donor car with Recaro front seats... those are also being retrimmed to match the car..

Then all the period AMG stuff such as exhausts, steering wheel, badges, cluster etc...
