Congratulations!
I would be interested as well. My new(er) car has 15", but I will switch to the
14" ones that I have from my olderer car. Both cars were from the first series
and I have the all-important entries in the cars papers. Here (in germany) all
changes must have an approval certificate.
I would think that Dan had it right about handling. When I was still driving
Pontiac Fieros (stopped after killing two motors on the autobahn!) there was
a huge improvement going from 15" to 17" Toyos. I got much better handling
with those tires. I noticed this because my obligatory "winter Tires" were
15" and the change was not all about the formulation of the rubber.
