can bee seen ?? That's busy work, but easy.

I had the same type of problem with my '91. Fan only worked on low for a
long time then finally quit. I found out that it wasn't the blower motor
though. It turned out to be the unit that looks like some sort of heat sink
with a lot of prongs on it that is mounted on the motor housing. I don't
remember what the piece is called though. It's been a few years ago.

I have no clue how you test that switch.

Maybe some of the folks on BenzWorld

would be more responsive than MBCoupes.

One of these days I will sign-up with them

myself. The archives really helped me

in the past. They have been down for so

long, that I'm starting to think someone

doesn't give a shit. I don't remember seeing

a spare one in my shop. I'll look on Wednesday,

tomorrow is no good.

Found the problem looking through the old emails (where are archives?) it
was the fan blower fuse under bonnet next to brake reservoir. Still only
works on high stumped on that one. Jim

Stopped by and Attilia gave me a hand removing my console switches for the
fan and temp controls. (87 560 sec) Looks to us as if they are all in one
unit, not individual switches. The problem was the fan, it only ran on high
then after some months just stopped. I guess the question is can this be
repaired or do I need to replace it. Or should I look at the fan motor if so
how can I test it? If it is the switch does anyone have a used one for sale.
Jim
