>here's a tip on taking out the radio without those special tools...you will need those little screwdrive bits, they are about 1/2 inch long and you will also need a screwdrive.  what i did was, i slowly pushed down with the screwdriver on the metal clips just enough where i could slide a screwdrive bit between the base of the radio and the clip.  the metal clip locks on to the bit and holds the clip partially open...enough to just slide out the radio.  easy.
