Just switched tires on my car.
I've run a set of Kumhos Ecsta Supra 712s for the past 25K miles and was looking for an excuse to ditch them. They've always been terrible in the rain and are quite noisy.
I had 245/45s on my front 17" 3-piece AMG rims 8.5" wide, and ran 275/40s on the rear 10" rims.
I decided to drop down a size with the Michelins and am now running 235/45 on the front and 265/40 at the rear. Finally got rid of some slight rubbing.
I've only run these tires for a week, but so far I'm quite impressed. We've had a series of rainstorms so I've had plenty of opportunity to test their capabilites in the wet and they've been excellent. The tires are also blessedly quiet and the round shoulders is a plus with the steering geometry of our cars.
Can't say anything about thread life or how they'll perform after a few thousand miles, but so far I'm happy with my choice.
