If the injector seals were leaking, IE, a vacuum leak, sure.
I think I'd try to find a way to check the operation of the injectors
while you were there, though.
On my car, I have at least one injector that's dribbling, from how it
behaves when I shut it down.
(Rough to start, revs high if restarted a few minutes after shutting it
off, 5-10 sec cranking if it's been allowed to cool much beyond that point.)
From what I've been able to figure out, it appears that at least one is
dribbling, leaving the engine slightly flooded at first after shutting
it off, and loosing the fuel prime in the injector lines beyond that point.
