I just installed the Valet 712 in my wife's 190 (basically the same locking
system as the W126). Got it from Amazon.com.

You have the option to auto lock the doors when the ignition is turned on
and unlock when turned off.

BTW, I use the rear cig light for accessories..

John,

The BergWerks Keyless Entry module I have in my car does that.

It's a Valet 712 slightly modified for easy installation in the W126.

BergWerks is long gone and the Valet 712 has been replaced, but some of
their newer modules should work just as well.

Does anyone know if there is a door lock module which will lock the doors
when you shift into drive and unlock them when you shift into park?I had
that in another car and it was very convenient, especially since the door
lock switch on my 91 SEC is under the ash tray.I'm not a smoker, but I do
use the cigarette lighter socket for my iPod and GPS.Thanks.John
