[W126 Coupe] 1986 560 sec died on road

Pins 7 & 8 are in the fuel pump relay HOLDER. Unplug relay from holder
and then mark with white paint the two pins which are in parallel. It
does not hurt to add a heavy gauge (as in 16 -14 ga with tips soldered)
jumper to your roadside kit so you can drive temporarily if the relay
fails. You must remove jumper every time you shut down the engine however!

holder and jumper under 'fuel pressure gauge set-up'. The write-up is
for an M103 but, should be the same detail for the M116/117 V-8 in your
