[W126 Coupe] Speedometer

Hello, all. 



Can anyone assist? This weekend  the fuel economy meter stuck in the red position, all the way to the right? Can anyone tell me what the cuase and repaire for this is? Additionly my O2 light comes on periodcally, poor gas milage as a result, is there an option to replacing the O2 sensor with something other the expensive MB part?

I just had my speedometer rebuilt by DNA Speedometers in Tampa, cost $129. and works great

Hi, 

The speedometer [and odometer] have started to cut in and out intermittently. Going over a bump can make it work again. Does anyone have any suggestions to fix the problem? 

Also, is it normal to have a vacuum swoosh of air when you remove the gas cap. Is the air pressure in the tank not equalized in some way?
