[W126 Coupe] Speedometer

Hi,

The speedometer [and odometer] have started to cut in and out
intermittently. Going over a bump can make it work again. Does anyone have
any suggestions to fix the problem?

Also, is it normal to have a vacuum swoosh of air when you remove the gas
cap. Is the air pressure in the tank not equalized in some way?
