Jonathan
Can you let us know what the name of the Fluid is that you get from home depot?
Thanks Kelly

Haven't had mine in there long enough yet for a large temp range. I think it was late fall/early winter that I did the work and then tucked it away for hibernation.
But, Jonathan is a long-time mechanic, owns multiple SLS cars of his own and has been using this stuff for a good bit himself. So I trusted his recommendation.

Markus, have you noticed any difference in how the suspension responds on
hot days vs. cold days? The "shock absorber" part of the self-leveling
suspension is taken care of by an orifice between the accumulators and the
hydraulic rams that in an ordinary car are shock absorbers. I seem to
remember that Koni shock absorber fluid is pretty trick stuff that has its
viscosity controlled over a large temperature range. I wonder if the
Mercedes hydraulic fluid is similar.

Jim Ham
