[W126 Coupe] Exhaust

GlacierThe rubber ring hangers on both side of the exhaust pot close to the rear bumper of my 1987 569 SEC are breaking on a regular basis.
I think this happened because I drive a lot of city roads and many roads do have traffic bumps to slow down the cars.
Who knows a better solution? At the moment I just use some steel wire.
I appreciate your advise.
