[W126 Coupe] another relay question

Recently my 88 560 has had a "flat spot" when starting. The engine can die
suddenly when gas applied. After a total warm up, it seems to go away most
of the time. This can get real "hairy" when pulling out into traffic! 

One other niggling problem is my A/C. New compressor, I think all of the
servos have been checked or changed, but the system still does not get, or
stay really cold. Jonathan sent the relay, which got the system back up, but
I think I'm missing something. At the Sarasota meet last week, Attila
mentioned a mixing valve that sometimes needs to be replaced. This is the
system that when the A/C died, the heat was on full. I assumed this was
normal, but have now been told that my heat may be on all of the time and
that is the problem. Any ideas will be appreciated.
