I first want to thank the group for all that I learn from this forum and
that I will try to get to the Sarasota meet.

Most importantly, I want you all to know that when the A/C went out and the
heat automatically kicked in, I was running around trying to find a suitable
Benz expert because my regular mechanic was out of town on vacation. My
friend owns a used car shop, but his mechanic wasn’t strong enough on the
560 SEC, so as a last resort I called Jonathan. Not only did he talk the
mechanic through the assumptions for over ½ hour, but he had an A/C
controller in stock that he sent down for 2 day delivery. He charged me $40
bucks instead of the $900 quote from the dealership. I can’t wait to send
the car up for complete overhaul because this is the kind of guy we all want
to do business with! Thanks, Jonathan!

 

BTW, my hard drive crashed also and I would like to retrieve the last couple
of months of forum emails, is that possible?
