[W126 Coupe] Penta Wheels on 89 SEC

Hi,

I'd like to put a set of AMG Penta wheels on my 89 SEC.  I understand
that Penta I's won't clear the front calipers on post-85 w126 models
without using 3mm spacers.  I haven't been able to find Penta II's
(which I understand will work)and don't really want to use spacers.  Can
Penta I's be modified to work on my car?  Most of the wheels I've seen
need refinishing anyway.
