[W126 Coupe] towing

Hey everyone, I recently bought a parts car that I plan on picking up. I was 
wondering if it is safe to use a tow dolly to pull our cars (its a 560sec). Ive been 
told that you can't use those for all cars because it could ruin the differential. If 
anyone knows Id really appreciate it. Thanks, Jas
