Traction control..

Can be a PITA to diagnose..  For this car and Any Mercedes these days I 
strongly recommend having a warranty, be it factory (if you can still 
get it) or aftermarket.  For the cost of one moderate/non scheduled 
repair these warranty's will typically pay for themselves, ie my friends 
2002 CL600 needed an AC compressor..3800 later it was done and his 
warranty had just paid for itself in one repair.

Bruce Mendel can provide you w/ a Very good AM warranty should you have 
interest.
