[W126 Coupe] Sunroof Seal

If you're interested in what's involved in some slide roof jobs, here's what
I've done.

 

Fix Wind deflector:

My attempt to repair the broken mechanism:

Replaced mechanism:

There's also a drive cable clutch adjustment, which I never got around to
documenting.   

Also it may be time for  a good cleaning and relube.  If there is too much
resistance (friction or broken parts), the drive cable clutch will slip.  If
I recall, the lifting operation requires a little extra torque and more
prone to not working if the adjustments are not right.
