I would be a little suspicious of this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HHO_Gas#Applications_-_Claimed

I saw a video on http://hho-gas.org/

I would wonder if the gains in gas milage would win against the
electricity (though the alternator that charges the battery--that needs
energy from the motor) would win in the end. That thing about
conservation of energy was something I did learn in Chemistry in
College.

More practical question: In Germany there are a lot of SEC's that
have been retro'd to run LPG. I see that CNG is mostly available
in the US. Here the CNG is mostly run by busses as they say (??)
that motor changes are necessary for CNG that are not necessary
for LNG (logic tells me that this really depends on the mixing equipment--
but this could be wrong).

Does anybody run LPG there?

I ask this because if 98% of our Natural gas is domestic--I wonder why
more cars are not being converted for this. here the cost of LPG is
68 Eurocents a litre where gasoline costs now 1.52 EUR (thats $2.36
a litre or $8.95 a gallon-- you think you guys have trouble!). It would
seem to be the slam dunk everybody has been looking for?

Andy
