[W126 Coupe] Power Steering Fluid Question and more

Everybody may do it differently but I open the return line and flush until clean runs out, without the filter and install new filter.
Last year it stayed pretty clean?, so I just vacuumed and refilled the reservoir about 3 times.

Would this advice apply to my '90 R129 500 SL. I have been adding MB power steering fluid as it's been leaking very slowly, but steadily. On my second quart of the stuff. If I should change over to ATF Dexton, what is the complete procedure you would recommend?

Thanks,

Paul

Yes I've used Lucas PS additive, magic in a jug. Stopped the leak, stopped the groan, everything works fine 6 years on one car 5 on another. Find it hard believe myself. Worked in like 2 days. Also only use ATF Dextron clean out once a year and add fresh and a small amount of Lucas. Your German mechanic is somewhat tainted I think or rat piss is readily available to him, I'd have to order some. Just like A/C mechanics that tell you not to use Duracool or the like in your air conditioning.
