[W126 Coupe] Blower motor issues

Two-five screws to remove the right knee panel (depending on how many
are missing from prior owners/maintainers loosing them.
Then five or six screws around the rim of the motor cover, and an
electrical connection.
You will have to disconnect the wiring from the motor, just a pair of
spade terminals, and possibly remove the fan cage, depending on if you
got one with it already mounted or not.

If your cage has to be transferred, you will have to drive the shaft of
the old motor out of the hub. It's knurled to keep it tight in the
plastic, so you'll have to either press it out, or drive it out with a
punch. I tried the first, but resorted to the second option. (A pair
of two by sixes on edge to brace the cage on, a punch, two taps with a
ball peen hammer and the motor was on the floor.)

To reinstall, reverse the steps you took prior, making sure to get the
two spade terminals installed in a manner that won't interfere with
getting the motor back into it's shield, and then back into the blower
housing.

Happy wrenching!
