for old Mercedes TIMEVALVE for euro and us take a look at their web site
www.timevalve.com .I have not bought my yet so I do not know how great of a
exhaust it is but sounds good.

Subject: [W126 Coupe] Exhaust Opinions

Hey guys, So the transmission is in and working very well but now I have
another project. The exhaust on my 380 is shot. The pipes have been cheaply
repaired in the past, the resonators have large holes, and there are holes
everywhere in the piping. I have found a good shop to do the work but I
wanted
to run my idea by everyone first.
It has the euro log manifolds so those are going to stay (just sandblasting
and
powercoat - jethoting is a little pricy), I want to remove the old BMW cats
and
resonators. The pipes would run straight back with an X-pipe, finally
leading to
the original muffler (Until I find a muffler I like). I was planning on
running 2"
tubes, is that too big? Also, does it matter how far the X-pipe is from the
manifolds or muffler? I was planning on putting it in where the resonators
are
now.
- Everything will be mandrel bent stainless, I also have the dual intake
installed
if that needs to be taken into consideration.

Any advice would be awesome, thanks. Jas
