Here in Tacoma, I'd say we're ahead of your prices already, and that is
avoiding looking at Seattle prices...
Thanks to Washington State deciding to line pockets off of the fuel tax
more than normal, lately, we're seeing $4.50 for premium at the off name
suppliers, and ~$4.60 at the tier one stations.
I'd prefer to only feed my car from Chevron or Shell, but at their
prices, I don't think so... High volume other chains for me, just to
hopefully avoid getting a tank of water or sludge from stuff sitting
forever, but not pay the surcharge for being from the big named
station. I add a bottle of Techron every third tank or so to hopefully
cut down on the grime, but even that I buy in bulk at the Costco
warehouse store, definitely NOT at the chevron prices.
