[W126 Coupe] gas prices

I just saw $5.05 today in California for 91. They've been swapping in E10
as well, but I can never keep track of when.

Also, regarding the protester who burned his car for $400 a month in
gas...that's about what I spend as well.

Regards,

Eddie

Here in Portland, OR we're now on E10 year-round, after using it only
in winter months over the past few years.

It does reduce MPG a bit and is absolutely NOT discounted -- in fact
super (92 octane) Chevron gas is selling for $4.55 a gallon at my
local station (regular $4.33). I'll bet these prices are higher than
most everyone's on this list save folks who live in California.

I haven't noticed any running issues specifically with my 560SEC,
560SL or E500 but I can't imagine that having 10% ethanol is actually
GOOD for these cars.

Cheers,
Gerry
