Hi Sam & Josh,
Sam, I'm referring to the cavity inside the booster enclosure not under
the booster exterior. The interior is visible once the master cylinder
is removed. The build-up will be brake fluid. Brake fluid that has
seeped by the aging master cylinder will have pooled to a level where it
sits on the rubber diaphragm. This will cause the diaphragm with time
to fail. I doubt you have this problem, but, wanted you to look in there
just to be sure where mileage, previous owner all of that are not known.
Regards,
Dick
