A car is not going to pass emissions without a cat, unless it's the cleanest running car ever, fully tuned, fully leaned out, and very hot. But it's unlikely at best. And CA emissions? No way.

Wow, 138K miles and $11K! That's a great price, and a very nice looking car. Makes my upcoming 1989 Euro with 285HP, Euro bumpers/headlights. and AMG 17" Aero I's on lowered suspension with 50K miles a bargain at $15,900!

a few days ago i saw an sec on ebay. and in the description part they made a statement regarding amg exhaust....here it is. is it true that the catalytic converters can be eliminated and pass a california emissions test?
