[W126 Coupe] Hirschmann Antenna

I wouldn't get anything other than a Hirschmann mast or motor replacement.
I helped a friend of mine replace a mast recently. He bought a new mast by ATA and when tightening the nut, the thing snapped at the neck with minimal torque. Now we need to figure out how to get the threaded sleeve out as the mast will not come out otherwise. What a POS...!
Whatever you save it's not worth it.

The antenna and gear kit are available for about $60 from
GLG Direct (glgdirect at comcast.net) for about $50USD.  The
mast is made in China, don't know how it compares to the
OEM.  I haven't done the replacement yet, as I was out of
the country for about 5 weeks, and it's been raining more or
less continually since I've been back.  Good luck with it!
