[W126 Coupe] Pinstripes on an SEC

I am fairly certain, as are others that the SEC did not come factory direct with the pinstripes.  If you take a look at the pictures the 2 other SECs do not have pinstriping.  Although Gary has done some cool stuff on the inside of the door with pin striping.

gold pinstripes that were applied by an aftermarket pinstriper of  
national acclaim..

I think it looks fine.  I would never (personally) have pinstriping  
applied to one of my cars, but I have never minded the fact that my  
SEC has it, and it was not a "make or break" factor in purchasing my  
car as it was done very nicely.
