[W126 Coupe] 560 SEC question

Andy; To the best of my knowledge the SEC (or any other MB model for that matter) was never supplied from factory with pin striping. This appears to be a common American decorative "improvement" installed by the dealers. Ditto the chrome wheels. Pin stripes on new MB's were very rarely applied by dealers in Canada and, I am told, never seen in Europe.

It's a matter of taste obviously, but perhaps you should check with Mercedes Benz further if you are concerned. -Bellamy
