In addition, you'd have to change the front cross-member assemblies, headlight assemblies and likely the inner fenders (& wheel arches) as well. I imagine it would be a huge body job. If anyone has done this, please share a photo with everyone. An SEL with an SEC front would be really interesting.

To do so, you also need to swap the front fenders and possibly the bumper if you want it to look cleaner (there's a divet in the SEL bumper to accomodate the lower hanging grille compared to an SEC). If you do the complete "front clip" (fenders, hood, grille) it can be done.
