[W126 Coupe] Rear Lighting?

To anyone:

This note is fascinating.

Can a rear Fog lamp be installed on US models, and if so, how. I had rear
fogs on a Jaguar and they really were useful and comforting in foggy
situations, especially in the Daytime, a frequent early morning phenomenon
here in NJ.
