[W126 Coupe] 1991 560 SEC

[Carl Hansen]

Aficionados of fine automobiles place certain colours to certain makes of 
cars.

The Italian race car colour is red, the British green while the 
Mercedes-Benz racing colour is silver.

Of course this isn't necessary something to live by.

My wife for example can't stand a white car. It looks like a fridge. A large 
car looks like a big chest freezer.

The reason I don't care for a white car is that a rust spot shows up really 
bad.

I am sure most of you guys out there know the reason M-B race cars are 
silver, ok ok, just asking.
If not there's a powerful explanation for it.
