Ah yes, but is this the generic Hirschman from China or the Real bugger
that's still made in Germany?
Your best bet is get back there w/ a test light and have someone turn
the radio on and off. I'm assuming your car is pre 91 and still has the
antenna switch in which case make sure it is at max height as you will
likely lose your antenna level adjustment with this new antenna.
