  Andy,

  It seems as if there are 4 "strong pockets" on this list, those being:

  northeast
  florida/southeast
  northwest
  california/vegas

  Those are about the 4 extremes of the country too!  Satish is more than happy to host another event, we already talked about it at the last one.  But Detroit isn't exactly "central", so I thought I'd see what real interest there was.  So far, KC seems to be the best offer I've seen out there.  Its about 1200 miles from the east coast (NYC, Philly area) where several of us usually come from, a little further from the Boston area, about 1000-1300 miles from Florida depending on where you live, about 1300 from Vegas, and 1800 from Seattle.  As with most of these events (even the local ones) most people usually don't commit until the last minute.  So there's usually a lot of emailing back and forth for a while, someone steps up and picks a place, and we see who shows up.  One thing to keep in mind is many attending are only able to do so for a weekend, maybe a long weekend.  This rules out a 2 day drive each way to a location.

  I personally love the events we've had.  I'm made many friends on this list and love just seeing everyone when we have the get-togethers.  Fun to see the people, share stories, and enjoy our cars.  I usually ask the question early in the year because I spent most of my summer traveling around the country so I try and coordinate this into the schedule.

  Marcus thanks for the clarification and explanation. I guess then that any hope of a national meeting of SEC owners has about the same chance as snow ball in H- - -. Hopefully some day enuf owners will be interested and it may come to fruition.

  In the mean time if anyone in the Az., so CO and NM areas are interested in attending the Albuquerque MBCA section car show in June please contact me OK.

  Marcus if you ever get to gods county (southern NM) please feel free to drop in, guests are always welcome at my home.
