[W126 Coupe] Becker radio or faceplate

I have an 87 560 SEC and want to upgrade the speakers. The radio works fine,
however I may switch to a new head unit anyway.  

 

The front 3.5 inch have two screws holding in the front but it is still
holding in the back.

The rear 6.5 inch has two screws also but seems to be still stuck also.

 

Has anyone replaced these speakers before?

Lou, you probably have a BE1480 and I doubt that the faceplate would be
interchangeable with the 780.

For those of you who have upgrade your stereos, anybody have a Becker 780
laying around that works but they want to get rid of?  Or just the
faceplate?  The 89 560SEL I'm fixing up has the head unit, minus faceplate
and when I tried putting the one from my SEC on there it came up with the
---- which I thought was the code.  When I contacted Becker, they said you
can't put the faceplate from the 87 SEC (754 Becker) on the 89 SEL (780
Becker) even though it seems to fit just fine.  

 

Or maybe I need to get the code for the radio in my SEC?
