[W126 Coupe] Becker radio or faceplate

I wish I saw this before I met up with you yesterday. I have a becker that I was told was original with the car (1990 SEC). How do I tell if it's the one you need?

For those of you who have upgrade your stereos, anybody have a Becker 780 laying around that works but they want to get rid of?  Or just the faceplate?  The 89 560SEL I'm fixing up has the head unit, minus faceplate and when I tried putting the one from my SEC on there it came up with the ---- which I thought was the code.  When I contacted Becker, they said you can't put the faceplate from the 87 SEC (754 Becker) on the 89 SEL (780 Becker) even though it seems to fit just fine.  

Or maybe I need to get the code for the radio in my SEC?
