[W126 Coupe] Moon roof specs

I had the same issue which led to me disconnecting the roof...I had my whole car retrimmed and the alcantara was way too thick and ended up costing me 3 new brackets (£50/$100 each) and a repaint to the lid as i scraped the paint off trying to get it to line up! Dont use it much in sunny UK anyway...

The original stuff is very very thin material...

  Does anybody know the specs for the thickness of the moon roof headliner panel including the cover material? It seems either the panel or the material used on mine is too thick and when I fully open it the inside headliner panel pops off the front clips. - Terry
