[W126 Coupe] STARTING PROBLEMS WITH DRAIN

Hi Clay,

Archives have some interesting comments on battery drain diagnosis. If you
prefer a hit or miss approach for starters try disconnecting any aftermarket
amp on the stereo and then disconnect as in remove the front coupe headliner
courtesy lamp and all related connections.

Then see if the problem persists and if it does hook up the volt meter to
battery to affirm the drain is the car and not a bad cell on the battery
itself and follow with metering each of the fues connectors to the hot side
to see if a drain is apparent.

Good luck,
Dick
