[W126 Coupe] 02 sensor ??

i located the sensor and it seems to be one long continous line that goes to the rear of the tranny.
   
  the 02 i got has a short wire, about 6 inches long, and has like a recepticle connection.  i'm i gonna have to wire it myself?
