[W126 Coupe] Jonathan or anyone regarding shocks/accums rear

after replacing the rear accums what type of hydraulic fluid do it use to flush the system.  do i get it at the mbz dealership?  
   
  also those things that look like rear shocks...i remember someone saying they were the hydraulic rams.  so i don't need to replace those.  i thought they were shocks?   
   
  what about the front shocks...i also remember your not suppose to mix the front and rear "ride/firmness"
   
  what kind of shocks do these cars take if you just want a smooth ride?
